Prototype
Class 01 express steam locomotive of the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft (DRG), with a 2´2´T34 coal tender. Wagner smoke deflectors and a smoke box with a central door lock. Locomotive running number 01 184. The locomotive looks as it did around 1936.
Model
The locomotive has a digital decoder and extensive light and sound functions. It also has a regulated high-performance drive with a flywheel in the boiler. 3 axles powered. Traction tyres. The locomotive and tender are largely of metal. The 7226 smoke unit can be installed in the locomotive. The dual headlights change over with the direction of travel; they and the smoke unit that can be retrofitted will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. Firebox flickering can be controlled digitally. The lighting uses maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. Close coupler with a guide mechanism between the locomotive and tender. Close coupler with a guide mechanism and an NEM pocket on the tender. Piston rod protective sleeves and brake hoses are included. The minimum radius for operation is 360 mm. Length over the buffers 27.5 cm.
