A locomotive has several lives. We sell pre-owned pieces checked and run by a modeller — and we buy pieces and collections looking for a new layout.
Buying pre-owned from us
- Every piece is tested on track before sale.
- Condition is described honestly — visible wear is documented, never hidden.
- One year statutory warranty on pre-owned items (art. 210 par. 4 CO).
Selling your collection
Inheriting a layout? Changing scale? Send us a few photos and the main article numbers — we will make you an honest offer, in cash or as increased store credit.
Our condition scale — declared, not guessed

Every pre-owned item is tested on track before sale, photographed for real, and its condition is stated in writing.
Selling your collection — in 3 steps
- 1. Write to us — two or three overview photos and, if you have one, a list, to modelisme@swiss-hobby.ch.
- 2. Our offer within 48 h — for large collections, we come to you.
- 3. Cash payment or store credit, your choice — pickup or drop-off at the shop.
We take over entire collections — locomotives, wagons, track, scenery — Märklin, Trix, LGB, Roco, Fleischmann, BEMO, HAG and other brands.
