Prototype
Electric railcar ET 85 with driving trailer ES 85 of the German Federal Railway (DB). Version with tail signal lanterns mounted at the top, in a purple red colour scheme. Running numbers ET 85 21 and ES 85 20. Home locomotive depot München. The train looks as it did starting in 1958.
Model
The ET 85 is the powered unit, with an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound functions. Regulated high-performance drive. Four axles powered. Traction tyres. Triple headlights and two red tail lamps on the outer ends of both units, changing with the direction of travel, can be controlled digitally. Both units are permanently coupled to each other by a multi-pole coupler. The interior lighting in the ET 85 railcar and the ES 85 driving trailer will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white LEDs. The headlights at railcar end 1 and driving trailer end 2 can each be turned off separately in digital operation. The cab lighting in the outer cabs can be controlled separately in digital operation. Very detailed version of the running gear and the body. The car body and the car floor are metal. Multi-part, multi-colour interior details. Reproduction brake lines and two close coupler heads are included. Overall length over the buffers approx. 46.8 cm.
