Märklin 39698 — Class VT 92.5 Salon Powered Rail Car

Product information "Class VT 92.5 Salon Powered Rail Car"

Prototype

Four-axle diesel railcar as a saloon railcar, class VT 92.5, of the German Federal Railway (DB). Steel blue basic paint scheme. With buffer shrouds. Railcar running number VT 92 502. The railcar looks as it did around 1956.

Model

The railcar has an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound and light functions. Regulated high-performance drive with a flywheel. 2 driving axles in the powered bogie are driven using cardan shafts. Traction tyres. Dual headlights and two red tail lamps that change over with the direction of travel will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. The headlights at the front and rear can each be turned off separately, digitally. In addition, the cab lighting at the front and rear can each be controlled digitally, separately. The luggage compartment lighting and the corridor, toilet, sleeping compartment and locker room lighting can also each be controlled digitally, separately. Lighting with maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs. Movable fan wheel. The fan wheel drive can be controlled digitally, separately. Current-conducting close couplers on both sides. The interior lighting of coaches coupled to the railcar can thus be controlled digitally, separately, by way of the railcar's current-conducting close coupler. The front aprons can be exchanged for a version without close couplers plugged in. Detailed buffer beam. Plug-in brake hoses, imitation screw couplings and steam lines are included. In addition, the buffer shrouds fitted, which are necessary for safe operation with coaches coupled behind, can be exchanged for buffer shrouds at a prototypical height. Length over the buffers 25.1 cm.
