Prototype
Goods train for the autumn beet campaign on the line of the Verkehrsbetriebe Grafschaft Hoya (VGH) from Syke via Bruchhausen-Vilsen and Hoya to Eystrup, hauled by V 36 005 (ex DB 236 237-4), as was classic in the 1980s. The VGH was regarded as a V 36 paradise; after all, this transport operator had 8 machines of this type in its fleet. For almost 35 years the V 36 were the backbone of operations at the VGH. Since 1998 V 36 005 has belonged to the Deutschen-Eisenbahn-Verein based in Bruchhausen-Vilsen, an Insider Club cooperation partner, and is kept in working order for special runs. The fine thing about this is that it never had to leave its last place of work and never had to give up its final appearance from its scheduled service days at the VGH. In this way the authenticity of a V 36 on a private railway can still be experienced today in a heritage setting. The wagon fleet of the beet train consists of three open goods wagons of the Eo 17 type. The wagons were taken over empty by the VGH at the DB interchange stations Syke and Eystrup with the rod-drive diesel locomotives originally built for the German Wehrmacht and were handed back to the DB loaded.
Model
Locomotive with a bell-armature motor, mostly of metal. Headlights with warm white/red LEDs changing over with the direction of travel, all wagons printed in prototypical fashion. Wagons fitted with a "beet" load. All vehicles in a special version, not available separately. Length over the buffers approx. 174 mm. A "beet loading" kit, elaborately laser-cut from architectural card, is included in the contents supplied. Dimensions of the finished model L 42 mm x W 32 mm x H 45 mm.
