Prototype
6-axle steam-powered railway wagon slewing crane, type 058 (Ardelt), with a lifting capacity of 57 t, with a crane runner wagon (rebuilt from an Rms Stuttgart) and an equipment wagon 631 of the German Federal Railway (DB). The steam crane is painted in chrome oxide green. With the coat of arms of the city of Ludwigshafen am Rhein. The crane looks as it did around 1977.
Model
The crane wagon has an mfx+ digital decoder and sound functions. The crane superstructure with its jib can be rotated 360° on a toothed ring. The jib can be raised and lowered by means of a cable pulley. The main hook is made of metal and can be raised and lowered by means of a cable pulley. The cab lighting can be controlled digitally. Two work lights on the jib can be controlled digitally. LEDs are used for the lighting. A built-in smoke unit can be controlled digitally. 4 outriggers can be swung out by hand and locked with spindles on the included bases. The chimney with its smoke hood can be removed or put in place. The counterweight is made of metal, can be partly removed, and can be set down on the buffer platform. The crane wagon has a six-axle undercarriage and a superstructure housing made of metal. Stake wagon (rebuilt from an Rms Stuttgart) with a jib rest as a runner wagon. Covered goods wagon of the interchangeable design Gl "Dresden" as equipment wagon 631. The minimum radius for operation is 437.5 mm! Overall length over the buffers approx. 40 cm.
