LGB — the train that lives outdoors
Heir to the Lehmann house (Nuremberg, 1881), LGB created the garden railway in 1968: G scale, 1:22.5, on 45 mm track through every season. Rain, snow, sun — the layout lives in the garden, and the miniature Rhaetian Railway climbs the same loops as the real one in Graubünden.
What makes an LGB
- Built for outdoors — protected mechanics, solid brass track, weatherproof.
- 1:22.5 — big enough for detail, robust enough for children's hands.
- The Swiss spirit — RhB, crocodiles and rack railways in the catalogue since forever.
- Compatible — analogue DC, DCC and mfx depending on the model.
