Prototype
Type BDnrzf 784.1 cab control car, 2nd class, of the German Federal Railroad. "Silberling" design with a "Karlsruhe Head" and a baggage area. Train route: Cologne-Gummersbach. Basic pure orange/pebble gray paint scheme. The car looks as it did starting in 1986.
Model
Underbody detailed specifically for this type of car. Trucks with disk brakes. Separately applied grab irons on the car ends. With a built-in function decoder for changing over the lights from triple headlights to two red marker lights. Cab, passenger area and baggage area lighting can be controlled separately. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. With a buffer capacitor for bridging brief sections without power. The current-conducting coupler for turning the lighting in the train of cars on and off can also be controlled digitally. Printed destination boards. Toilet drain pipes and switching steps are included as separate parts to be plugged in. Minimum radius for operation 360 mm. Length over the buffers 28.2 cm.
