Prototype
Class 491 "Glass Train" electric observation rail car of the German Federal Railroad (DB). With dual lamps on the ends, horns and train radio antenna as well as scissors-type and single-arm pantographs. White aluminum/Olympic blue paint scheme. The rail car looks as it did around 1977.
Model
Completely new development, chassis and body in a combination of metal and plastic. One truck powered by a bell-shaped armature motor. Unobstructed view through the windows. Replica interior and cab. Headlights changing over with the direction of travel, 3 warm white/2 red, with maintenance-free LEDs. High level of detail with a fine, elaborate paint scheme and lettering. Minimum radius for operation 195 mm. Length over the buffers approx. 93.8 mm.
