Prototype
Local service diesel railcar, class 648.2 (LINT 41) of the Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG). Basic traffic red paint scheme. Version with low-level entrances. Used in the Koblenz service area, with the destination display "RE25 Gießen". Railcar running numbers 648 206-0 and 648 706-9. The railcar looks as it did around 2016.
Model
The railcar has a digital decoder and extensive sound functions. It also has a regulated high-performance drive with a flywheel located in the Jacobs bogie. 2 axles powered. Traction tyres. The triple headlights change over with the direction of travel and two red tail lamps will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. The headlights at railcar ends 2 and 1 can each be switched off separately digitally. Double "A" light function. Interior lighting fitted as standard. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the headlights and the interior lighting. The destination display is prototypical with yellow LEDs. The headlights, destination display and interior lighting will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. Detailed version of the running gear and the body. Unobstructed view through the windows. Closed diaphragm and guide mechanism on the Jacobs bogie between the vehicle halves. Representation of the centre buffer couplers at the ends. Total length approximately 48.1 cm.
