Prototype
Class 798 rail bus powered car and Class 998 rail bus control car of the German Federal Railroad (DB). Original crimson paint scheme. Powered car running number 798 666-4, control car running number 998 660-5. The train looks as it did at the beginning of the 1970s.
Model
Powered car with an mfx+ digital decoder and extensive sound and light functions. Regulated high-performance motor. 2 axles powered. Traction tires. Interior lighting installed at the factory. Triple headlights and 2 red marker lights that change over with the direction of travel, together with the interior lighting, will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. The headlights on each end of the powered car can be turned off separately in digital operation. Control car with factory-installed interior lighting. Triple headlights with 2 red marker lights changing over with the direction of travel on the control end. Maintenance-free warm white and red LEDs are used for the lighting. The powered car has a buffer capacitor. Current-conducting drawbar connection with a close coupler guide mechanism between the units. Current-conducting drawbar and brake hoses included. Both units as well as the optionally available trailer car have an unobstructed view through the cabs and the passenger area. Length over the buffers of the two-part train 32.2 cm.
