Prototype

The Minitrix point combines robustness, electrically reliable connections and a prototypical appearance. The track system can be extended as desired and, with special transition tracks, can even be combined with older track systems. The ideal track system for newcomers and professionals.

Model

Minitrix curved point, right-hand, R1/R2. The R1/R2 curved point is specially matched to the curved tracks of these two radii, i.e. the inner curve of the point corresponds to radius 1, the outer one to radius 2. In both cases, however, it is a curve of special shaping, in order to allow these points to be used as versatilely as possible. Curved points for radii 1 and 2. The point curve corresponds to 42°. Stop-point function optional. An electric drive can be retrofitted. The click connection with the "Click". Assembled and dismantled in next to no time. Stable and durable. The Minitrix system: combining the Minitrix track systems with one another is possible at any time thanks to transition tracks. Perfect connection: the mechanical and electrical connection between two tracks is not visible from the outside. The line thereby looks as though made from a single length, just as on the prototype. Special fishplates are not needed. Invisible strength: thanks to this stable click connection on the underside of the track, the geometry of the line can be maintained precisely without having to screw the track down. It can thus be assembled at any time and quickly dismantled again. Anywhere! Versatile space: the ballast base (underside of the track) offers plenty of room for the installation of electric point motors or decoders, for laying cables and much more. All of this is completely invisible from the outside. The Minitrix track is the ideal track for quickly setting up a track figure on the table or on the floor. With six curve radii, flexible track, standard or slim points and crossings, the Minitrix track system offers ideal conditions. The most important thing is careful laying of the track. Small unevenness, shavings left lying under the track or deburred drill holes have a proportionally stronger effect in 1:160 scale than in larger scales. For trouble-free operation it is advisable to mount the N layout on a firm base of board or frame construction. Minitrix tracks have solid-profile rails made of a stainless special alloy. Together with the prototypical profile cross-section, this guarantees unsurpassed contact reliability between wheel and rail. For easy expanding of your layout there are also various track extension sets with item no. 14311 and 14312. This allows parallel circuits, passing loops and sidings to be built up easily.
