Prototype
Electric express railcar class RCe 2/4 "Roter Pfeil", 3rd class, maintained as a heritage vehicle for special trips by the Oensingen-Balsthal-Bahn AG (OeBB). Refurbished, the railcar externally reproduces its condition in the mid-1950s in the purple red basic paint scheme of the SBB. Railcar running number 607. Operating condition 2023.
Model
Chassis with main frame and locomotive body of die-cast zinc. Many separately applied centrifugally cast brass parts. Metal buffers. The railcar has an mfx digital decoder with up to 32 functions, a built-in power buffer that can be parameterised, a regulated high-performance drive and extensive sound functions such as operating sounds, blowers, a locomotive whistle, multiple station stop announcements, station announcements, background sounds at the station and much more. It can be operated with AC power, DC power, Märklin Digital and DCC. High-efficiency motor with two axles powered. The scissors-type pantographs can be raised and lowered by motor in digital operation. White LED headlights change over with the direction of travel, will work in conventional operation and can be controlled digitally. Warm white LED lighting in the cabs, dependent on the direction of travel. The interior lighting and the driver's desk lighting can be controlled. Swiss lighting changeover in red and white, doors that open, interior details, cab with a built-in locomotive driver figure. The minimum radius for operation is 1,020 mm. Length over the buffers 70 cm. Weight approximately 5.6 kg.
