Prototype
A diesel-electric main line locomotive based on the class 245, a double-deck coach 1st/2nd class and a double-deck coach 2nd class of the Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG). The units look as they did around 2013.
Model
The locomotive has a die-cast metal chassis. mfx/DCC decoder with a sound generator. 5-pole motor with a flywheel. With a guide mechanism for close couplers. The headlights change over with the direction of travel, 4 axles powered, traction tyres. The coaches have a guide mechanism for close couplers. Included are a Mobile Station, a track connection box, a 230 V/30 VA switched-mode power supply and an oval of track with curved track in radius 2. Space required: 90 x 47 cm. Total length over the buffers of the train approx. 452 mm.
