Product information "m 84 Decoder"
Model
Receiver for switching continuous current on and off for lighting, motors, Hobby colour light signals (74371, 74380, 74391) and other electrical accessories. The m 84 supports the Motorola, DCC and mfx digital formats. The digital address can be set with coding switches or by means of the programming track in steps of 4. The address range available goes up to address 320 in the Motorola format and up to address 2040 in the DCC format. The m 84 contains 8 relays in 4 electrically isolated groups for switching loads. By using a 66360 power supply, the bistable state of the relays and the storage of the switch setting can be implemented. 4 Hobby colour light signals and 4 Hobby distant signals can be controlled, with the option of switching the track current at the same time. The m 84 also contains 8 inputs for switching the relays manually (similar to the 7244 remote switch). The m 83 and m 84 decoders can be connected in any sequence. The connections are made by means of lift terminals. The maximum current-carrying capacity per group is 5A.
